Kylie Jenner is making waves in the ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail market with her latest venture, Sprinter—a canned vodka soda that seeks to transcend the typical celebrity-endorsed beverage. Launched in March 2024, Sprinter combines premium vodka, real fruit juice, and sparkling water, offering a 100-calorie, 4.5% ABV drink with no added sugars.

To ensure Sprinter's quality and authenticity, Jenner partnered with Chandra Richter, a beverage development expert with over two decades of experience and a Ph.D. in molecular biology. Their collaboration focused on creating a product that delivers bold, fruit-forward flavors without artificial additives.
Sprinter quickly gained traction, shipping over 140,000 cases within its first month and securing placement in more than 10,000 retailers and bars across 44 states. The brand's initial success is attributed to its appealing flavor profiles—Black Cherry, Peach, Grapefruit, and Lime—and its alignment with consumer preferences for cleaner, more natural ingredients.
Unlike many celebrity-backed products that rely heavily on star power, Sprinter is part of the Calabasas Beverage Company, which also manages Kendall Jenner's 818 Tequila. This structure allows for shared resources and strategic distribution channels, positioning Sprinter as a serious contender in the competitive RTD market.
With plans to introduce a second variety pack featuring new flavors, Sprinter aims to solidify its presence in the beverage industry. Jenner's approach—combining celebrity influence with a commitment to quality and innovation—signals a shift in how celebrity brands can establish lasting credibility and consumer trust.
