Francesca Eastwood, the daughter of Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood, was taken into custody over the weekend in Beverly Hills on suspicion of domestic violence. She has since been released on bail, according to local authorities.

The 31-year-old, known for her role in the E! reality series Mrs. Eastwood & Company and as the daughter of acclaimed director Clint Eastwood and Titanic actress Frances Fisher, was arrested shortly after 11 p.m. on Saturday. She was booked into the Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD) holding facility, with a $50,000 bail set. Her court appearance was scheduled for Tuesday morning.

As per a public information officer from the BHPD, Eastwood was released from custody on Sunday.

On Saturday, Beverly Hills police received a call at their North Rexford Drive headquarters regarding a potential domestic violence incident occurring within a safety zone. According to TMZ, Eastwood and her boyfriend were in a vehicle when an argument broke out, eventually escalating to alleged physical altercations. Her boyfriend was advised by police to drive to the BHPD safety zone, where officers intervened.

Eastwood, a Los Angeles resident, was arrested on suspicion of violating PC 273.5—Domestic Violence, a felony offense, as confirmed by BHPD Lieutenant Andrew Myers. Other than Eastwood’s release on Sunday, no additional information was provided by the department.

Court records indicate that in 2015, Eastwood pleaded no contest to a DUI charge, which was later dismissed.

Eastwood, alongside her stepmother Dina Eastwood and sister Morgan Eastwood, appeared in the 2012 E! series Mrs. Eastwood & Company, which focused on Dina, then married to Clint Eastwood, and the family’s life in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. The show also featured Overtone, an a cappella group Dina managed. The series was canceled after one season, with Morgan announcing the decision on Tumblr.

Since then, Francesca Eastwood has acted in films such as M. Night Shyamalan’s 2021 thriller Old and in TV series including the Twin Peaks reboot and FX’s Fargo.
